WaveShield

WaveShield (now on version 4) is a well-known name, but its website was behind a bot check during our research. So we only assess what's in the public documentation.

What's included

  • Client Execution API, including IsValidExecution and BlockNativeExecution
  • Exports and event handlers for using WaveShield in your own scripts
  • Documented staff bypass, unban procedure and commands
  • Licence activation through the WaveShield panel

Our verdict

Strengths

  • Public GitBook docs, including a section on common false bans (vMenu, trigger events, illegal native execution)
  • A developer API to cleanly exempt legitimate scripts
  • Optimisation tips for developers in the documentation

Watch out for

  • We couldn't verify pricing or staff tools, so those scores are missing
  • Cheap "WaveShield V4" copies are offered on resale sites. Only buy from the official site
  • The docs need a separate page on false bans, which means you have to configure it carefully before going live
